What Services do we offer?

Fast & Efficient Shredding

Skid steer brush cutters are better suited to tackle large areas of extremely tough and dense brush with minimal impact on the property. They offer superior maneuverability compared to dozers, walk-behind
cutters, and pull-behind mowers.

Forestry Mulching

A mulcher attachment allows you to effectively turn the brush and other materials into mulch on the spot. It is more cost-effective than bringing in multiple machines, such as bulldozers, tractors and loaders
and when you leave these materials in mulched form, you produce less waste while providing a protective layer to the ground. This protective layer made from natural materials can help prevent erosion and foster
native plant growth. Another benefit of mulching is less insects. invasive insects often live within overgrowth and tall grasses. When you mulch, you get rid of the area where this type of insect lives and breeds. An example of a potentially harmful species is a tick. Mulching can help reduce and control the population of creatures like ticks and those that pose risks to humans and wildlife.

Excavation & Finish Grading

Excavating & Grading is the process of preparing land for roadways or structures. These services include smoothing out the soil, flattening an area, building an area up, or sloping it to a certain degree, depending on the site requirements. Even unpaved roads require excavation and grading services to rejuvenate the road surface and eliminate problems like washouts and potholes. BigTex provides excavating and grading services to clear, dig, and level the site before laying any concrete or asphalt.

Shooting Lanes

While shooting lanes for the archery hunter might only extend out 50 yards or so, the rifle hunter’s shooting lane should extend out to the comfortable range of the shooter. That could mean 100 yards to 1,000 yards depending on the ability of the shooter. Most stands will benefit from more than one shooting lane If your stand is in a transition area between bedding cover and food, a deer might walk on either side of your stand. Unless you have a dominant terrain feature to block deer movement. This is a lot of disturbance in the hunting woods. That’s why it’s best to do these chores well before deer season.
